The Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi, wrote a message of congratulations and encouragement to the Members of the Global Energy Parliament on the eve of its 11th Annual Session.

"It is heartening to learn about the online global parliament on education organized by the Global Energy Parliament (GEP) from December 10-12, 2021. The effort to devise a global education policy to help students connect with their surrounding environment is commendable.

"A lifelong process, education helps assimilate fine human values leading to harmonious and balanced growth of an individual. Education and knowledge have become a tool for nation-building to the extend that leading nations and societies of the 21st century will be knowledge nations and knowledge societies.

"Knowledge-oriented Indian heritage and tradition contain solutions to every global challenge that we face today. Our scriptures are filled with practical wisdom in dealing with day-to-day challenges.

"Building upon such a rich legacy, we have introduced far-reaching reforms in the education sector to make our youth future-ready. Our vision is to make education learning-based, integrated and interdisciplinary. New age learning needs students to imbibe creativity, innovative thinking and futuristic skills.

"The brainstorming sessions by academic experts at the online platform will lead to an assimilation of best global practices in the education sector for the betterment of humanity. May this endeavour help assimilate innovative ideas to enable global youth to integrate their aspirations and efforts with larger good.
